Description
The Hi-Link HLK-LD020-5G is a compact, low-power 5.8GHz Doppler radar motion sensor module designed for embedded motion detection and occupancy sensing applications. Operating in the 5.8GHz ISM band, the module integrates signal demodulation, amplification, and digital processing to deliver a simple and reliable digital motion output.
With a wide detection angle of approximately 110° and a typical motion sensing range of 3 to 5 meters, the HLK-LD020-5G is ideal for automated lighting, smart occupancy systems, and presence-based control applications. Unlike PIR sensors, radar-based detection performs reliably in environments affected by humidity, oil smoke, or water mist, making it suitable for challenging indoor installations.
The module also supports fast detection mode for improved responsiveness and, in some configurations, includes optional ambient light detection, allowing integration into day/night or energy-saving automation systems.
