The M27C4001 is a 4 Mbit EPROM available in two variants: UV (ultraviolet erase) and OTP (one-time programmable). It is particularly well-suited for microprocessor systems that require large programs and is structured as 524,288 by 8 bits.
The FDIP32W (window ceramic frit-seal package) features a transparent lid that enables the user to expose the chip to ultraviolet light for erasing the bit pattern. Subsequently, a new pattern can be programmed into the device by adhering to the specified programming procedure.
