IC Chip ISO1050DUBR
The ISO1050 is a CAN transceiver that is galvanically isolated and complies with the ISO11898-2 standard specifications. The device features logic input and output buffers that are separated by a silicon oxide (SiO2) insulation barrier, which provides galvanic isolation of up to 5000 VRMS for the ISO1050DW model and 2500 VRMS for the ISO1050DUB model. When used with isolated power supplies, this device effectively prevents noise currents on a data bus or other circuits from affecting the local ground, thereby protecting sensitive circuitry from interference or damage.
As a CAN transceiver, it offers differential transmit capability to the bus and differential receive capability to a CAN controller, supporting signaling rates of up to 1 megabit per second (Mbps). The device is engineered for operation in particularly harsh environments and includes protection features against cross-wiring, overvoltage, and loss of ground, with a voltage range from ā27 V to 40 V, as well as overtemperature shutdown. Additionally, it supports a common-mode range of ā12V to 12V. The ISO1050 is rated for operation across an ambient temperature range of ā55°C to 105°C.
